Welcome to the Off Track page.
The listings here are for horses that have been trained but not raced, raced and haven't broke their maiden or have retired from track life. You will find youngsters not of racing age, racing age, broodmares and studs in the attached pages. These horses are coming from owners do care where their horses go otherwise they wouldn't have contacted me. All horses have had their pictures taken by me unless noted. All the owners/barns/training stables are wanting their horses to go to good homes to enjoy a second career. All show potential of something, even if it's a trail horse life. Some, although they are TB's or Standardbreds, can be good kids horses with a little patience. A misconception of track horses, is that they are high strung and hard to handle. While some are, most can be brought off their " track high " and can be as gentle as a kitten. Please feel free to contact us for more information on any of the horses listed.   Sideswipe Whammy - 4 yr old chestnut gelding. 15.3 - 16 HH. White blaze. This guy has been to the mountains and will cross bridges and water chest deep. Used to quads as the owner brought him out of the field for me to take pics. Quiet. $ 1200. Located near Redwater, AB   Down The Road Down The Road - 3 yr old filly. Chestnut. 15.2 - 15.3 Qh type TB. Stocky. Will get pics Aug 20. Asking $ 600. Owner will not go below meat price. I am going to have to get in touch with the owner as I can't find her pedigree online.
